What is an OKR? An OKR combines an objective , the change you want to achieve, with key results , the measurable evidence of success. Initiatives are the actions you take to move those results.
For example, an objective might be to make onboarding more effective. A key result could be to increase first-week activation from 32% to 45%. Redesigning the welcome flow is an initiative supporting that result.
How are OKRs different from KPIs? A KPI tracks ongoing performance. An OKR defines a specific improvement over an agreed period and may use a KPI as one of its measures. Pick the change first, then choose the numbers that show whether it happened.
01 Find your focus. Choose an objective that speaks to a real challenge your team wants to solve.
02 Make it yours. Adjust the targets, agree on ownership, and choose a timeframe that makes sense.
03 Keep it moving. Check in each week. Learn from what changes and give your team a clear next step.
FROM EXAMPLE TO EVERYDAY Good goals deserve a weekly rhythm. Bring your plan into Tability to track results, spot what needs attention, and share progress with your team.
